Abstract | The main objectives of the baseline activities are to establish baseline values for key program indicators and to characterize chicken production systems, management practices, current breed diversity and preferences along with current chicken on-farm performance. In addition, the results of this baseline activity will be critical in informing the on-farm monitoring design. The baseline was carried out at all project sites in each of the 3 countries. This dataset contains the baseline data for Nigeria. |
How this dataset could be used by others | Using the results to characterise chicken production in the 3 countries; carry out detailed analysis on chicken production systems, management practices, breed diversity and preferences in the 3 countries. |
